PAUL McCARTNEY continues his breakneck performing schedule by announcing he will headline this year’s FIREFLY FESTIVAL, JUNE 18th-21st at the WOODLANDS in DOVER, DE. It is Paul's first-ever appearance at FIREFLY and the latest confirmed date of this year’s OUT THERE tour, following on the recent announcement of an APRIL 21st-MAY 2nd run through JAPAN and SOUTH KOREA.
PAUL and his band -- keyboardist PAUL 'WIX' WICKENS, bass/guitar BRIAN RAY, guitarist RUSY ANDERSON and drummer ABE LABORIEL -- have performed in a variety of venues and locations, including outside the COLISEUM in ROME, in MOSCOW's RED SQUARE, BUCKINGHAM PALACE, THE WHITE HOUSE and a free show in MEXICO to more than 400,000 fans. Two weekends ago, McCARTNEY played a surprise VALENTINE's DAY gig at NEW YORK's IRVING PLAZA before singing "Maybe I'm Amazed" for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's 40th ANNIVERSARY special the following evening.
