Former NEW LIFE EVANGELISTIC CENTER Gospel daytimer WXOZ-A (formerly WDID-A)/HIGHLAND, IL-ST. LOUIS will flip to Talk this week under new owner ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA TRUST/INSANE BROADCASTING CO.

The ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH reports that former WASHINGTON PARK police chief and strip club owner BOB ROMANIK will serve as GM and 9-11a host, with syndicated G. GORDON LIDDY set to air 11a-1p. The station has been stunting with Oldies while the new format is finalized. ROMANIK served two short prison terms for lying to a grand jury in a gambling probe and later for bank fraud.
