SCREEN DOOR BROADCASTING, LLC is selling the construction permit for KEUC/RINGWOOD, OK to OKLAHOMA CATHOLIC BROADCASTING, INC. for an estimated $22,795. to cover costs.
In other filings with the FCC, WEST VIRGINIA WESLEYAN COLLEGE has requested a Silent STA for noncommercial WVWC/BUCKHANNON, WV due to studio remodeling.
FEEDING HOMELESS CORP. has applied for a Silent STA for WYKQ-LP/MAYAGUEZ, PR after losing its transmitter site.
FAMILY STATIONS, INC. has filed for an extension of its Silent STA for W243CT/MYRTLE BEACH, SC due to interference with its feed signal.
FM IDAHO CO., LLC (IMPACT RADIO GROUP) has closed on the sale of Regional Mexican KPDA (LA PODEROSA) (formerly Country KQBL (100.7 THE BULL)) and its booster KPDA-FM1/MOUNTAIN HOME-BOISE, ID to JLD MEDIA, LLC for $200,000; the station flipped to the Regional Mexican format on SUNDAY (3/1) with the closing, and the Country format moved to the former KDBI (now KQBL) at 101.9, acquired by FM IDAHO in a semi-concurrent transaction.
And REACH COMMUNICATIONS has closed on the sale of W245BC/LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL to BEASLEY BROADCAST GROUP for $190,000.
In CANADA, the CRTC has approved JIM PATTISON BROADCAST GROUP's application to drop the power of CKBI-FM-1/BIG RIVER, SK to 1.400 watts and the height to 86.9 meters above average terrain at a new site due to damage "beyond repair" at the existing site. The station rebroadcasts Country CKBI-A (AM 900)/PRINCE ALBERT, SK.
The CRTC has also approved changes to the CBC's FM transmitters at MULGRAVE, NS. CBHB/MULGRAVE, a rebroadcaster of CBC RADIO ONE affiliate CBHA/HALIFAX, will increase to 100,000 watts and move up to 192.4 meters, while CBH-FM-2/MUSGRAVE, rebroadcasting CBC RADIO 2 affiliate CBH-F/HALIFAX, goes down to 81,700 watts and up to 192.4 meters, and CBAF-FM-11/MUSGRAVE, rebroadcasting ICI RADIO-CANADA PREMIÈRE affiliate CBAF-FM-5/HALIFAX, increases to 100,000 watts at 192.4 meters.
