Capitol Music Group Promotes Cheryl Winston and Chris Green

CAPITOL MUSIC GROUP (CMG) SVP/Urban Promotions AZIM RASHID has promoted two key executives. CHERYL WINSTON/DALLAS is now Sr. National Dir./Urban and CHRIS GREEN/NEW YORK has been named National Dir./Urban. Both will report to RASHID.

"CHERYL and CHRIS are consummate professionals who always give 100% on behalf of our artists and their incredible music," AZIM said. "Their passion, skill, and experience make them two of finest promotion executives in our business, and I congratulate them both on their well-deserved advancements within our department and CAPITOL MUSIC GROUP."

WINSTON has been with the company since 2004 and most recently held the position of Southwest Regional. Prior to joining CAPITOL she was Sr. National Dir./Urban Promotions for MOTOWN.

He moves up from the position of Field National/National Mixshow Dir. Prior to joining CAPITOL, GREEN served as MID ATLANTIC/NORTHEST Regional for INTERSCOPE/GEFFEN/A&M. He also held the post of Mixshow Dir./Urban for SONY MUSIC from 2003 to 2007.
