Condolences to family and friends of former longtime WJFK/WASHINGTON Account Executive TIMI OBAIGBENA, who died SUNDAY (3/1) of an apparent brain aneurysm in SAN DIEGO at 56, according to THISDAY.
OBAIGBENA, born in NIGERIA, was a Certified Public Accountant; he was known to WJFK listeners for his on-air appearances (as "The Nigerian Nightmare," referring to everyone as "Captain") with the DON AND MIKE SHOW and other hosts. He is survived by wife SHERI and his family, including his brother, NDUKA OBAIGBENA, the Chairman/Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Nigerian newspaper THISDAY and head of UK television channel ARISE NEWS.
