WQDR Announces Morning Line-up

CURTIS MEDIA GROUP Country WQDR/RALEIGH, NC announces the new line-up of the MIKE WHELESS AND THE Q CREW IN THE MORNING show. Starting today (9/5), WHELESS and co-host MIKE RALEY will be joined by WQDR's night slammer MARTY YOUNG and the winner of the WQDR CASTING CALL, JANIE CAROTHERS.

YOUNG joined WQDR in 2003 working parttime with the station's webmaster. He later moved into the promotion department and then to nights as MARTY THE ONE MAN PARTY. Recently, he has become a key player in the morning show as GAS MAN, donning a cape and handing out gas cards to listeners. CAROTHERS is originally from the GREENSBORO area and will be leaving her position at the EMBASSY SUITES to join the station.
