PRINCE and 3RDEYEGIRL will bring their successful HIT & RUN TOUR to the STATES starting next week. The first show, MARCH 14th in LOUISVILLE, will be a hometown concert for the band's drummer HANNAH WELTON in a yet-to-be-announced venue
PRINCE performed a series of HIT & RUN shows last year in the U.K., announcing them via TWITTER, playing multiple shows in some venues. Next week's concert will be the first HIT & RUN show in the U.S.
Tickets will go on sale MONDAY at 10a local time, and a venue will be announced at a later date. A portion of the show's proceeds will be donated to local charities.
Last year, PRINCE released two new studio albums, a solo LP, "Art Official Age," and his 3RDEYEGIRL bow, "Plectrumelectrum." More recently, he presented the ALBUM OF THE YEAR honors to BECK at this year's GRAMMY AWARDS. "Like books and black lives, albums still matter," he uttered nonchalantly.
