After a successful run as PD at iHEARTMEDIA Top 40s WKSS (KISS 957)/HARTFORD and WKCI (KC101)/NEW HAVEN, J.B. WILDE has transferred to sister Top 40 KDWB and Hot AC KTCZ (CITIES 97.1)/MINNEAPOLIS as PD, effective APRIL 20th.
WILDE is replacing RICH DAVIS, who moved to iHEARTMEDIA/SEATTLE as VP/Programming and day-to-day PD at Top 40 KBKS (106.1 KISS FM) last year (NET NEWS 12/19/14).
WILDE commented, "I'm honored. I can't wait to work with the iHEARTMEDIA/MINNEAPOLIS team and lead two of the industry's most iconic brands, 101.3 KDWB and CITIES 97. They have done a phenomenal job creating unique brands with a large tribe of followers. I'm excited to build on that foundation. A big thank you to the wonderful teams in the past and I can't wait for this next chapter in my career."
iHEARTMEDIA/MINNEAPOLIS SVPP GREGG SWEDBERG noted, "I'm very much looking forward to pairing JB's energy and ideas with a great staff in place on KDWB and CITIES. JB has done a great job with our HARTFORD stations and I'm confident he will be the next great KDWB PD."
iHEARTMEDIA/NEW HAVEN-HARTFORD SVPP DAVE SYMONDS told ALL ACCESS, "J.B. has these stations humming! These are two successful and important radio stations, each with its own unique position, brand, music, talent. There's market overlap and it's highly competitive, so we need a true disciplined strategic thinker and branding genius!" Reach DAVE at davesymonds@Iheartmedia.com.
