Partners JORDAN BERLIANT and JEFF VARNER have launched REVELATION MANAGEMENT GROUP, based in L.A., as a division of RED LIGHT MANAGEMENT. The pair were previously housed at THE COLLECTIVE.
They are joined by veteran music promotion executive MARK GORLICK along with day-to-day managers JODI EMOND and STEPHANIE HERNANDEZ, with a roster that includes ASONIA, BETA STATE, BILLY TALENT, BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB, FENECH SOLER, GODSMACK, SLASH, STAIND, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and THE WHITE BUFFALO.
“We are happy to welcome them and their great roster of artists into the RLM family,” said RED LIGHT MANAGEMENT founder/owner CORAN CAPSHAW.
“We are very happy to be joining RED LIGHT and equally excited to keep the core of our great management team together,” remarked BERLIANT. “We feel that our new partnership affords our clients with the best possible platform to succeed in a landscape that is filled with change and disruption. We are convinced that the combination of our attention and focus on detail, strategy and innovation, along with the strength and resources of Red Light, is a winning formula for artists.”
"We’re very excited about the formation of REVELATION MANAGEMENT GROUP and our partnership with RED LIGHT MANAGEMENT,” added VARNER. “Having a company that allows us to work with such great artists as well as good friends and colleagues is something very special. I look forward to continuing the amazing work we've been able to achieve together and am eager to explore the new opportunities that this partnership will provide."
BERLIANT was formerly a partner at THE COLLECTIVE, where he oversaw day-to-day operations of the Music Management Division, where his clients included LINKIN PARK. He previously ran the day-to-day operations while also serving as International GM for ALLEN KOVAC’s management company, LEFT BANK, which later became 10th STREET ENTERTAIMENT.
With over 20 years experience in artist management, VARNER has been an integral part to numerous artist careers and projects. While at THE COLLECTIVE, VARNER managed SLASH, GODSMACK, THE PLAIN WHITE T'S, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and THE WHITE BUFFALO. Prior to joining THE COLLECTIVE, Varner served as GM of NORTH AMERICA for 10th STREET ENTERTAINMENT.
Over the years, the pair have worked in a management capacity with BLONDIE, THE BEE GEES, JOHN MELLENCAMP, PAPA ROACH, MOTLEY CRUE, LUTHER VANDROSS, THE CRANBERRIES, DURAN DURAN, MEAT LOAF and BUCKCHERRY.
With two decades of experience in major label radio promotion – including senior executive posts at MCA/UNIVERSAL, ATLANTIC/LAVA, DREAMWORKS and SONY’s RED STRATEGIC MARKETING division – GORLICK also joins REVELATION from THE COLLECTIVE.
