PEDRO ESCALERA has been named PD of EMMIS Spanish Top 40 KLZT-HD2/K274AX (LATINO 102.7)/AUSTIN.

VP/Programming & Operations CHASE RUPE tells ALL ACCESS, "PEDRO has been a valuable member of our EMMIS/AUSTIN team since we launched Regional Mexican KLZT (107.1 LA Z) in 2009. He also served as PD of COMEDY 102.7, and has held various programming positions on and off-air with our Spanish-language properties. PEDRO brings a level of energy and enthusiasm to our already capable and talented team on Latino -- and we’re excited to have him onboard in his new role."
