SUNBURST MEDIA-LOUISIANA, LLC is selling Spanish Hits KXMG (MEGA 107.5)/JEAN LAFITTE-NEW ORLEANS, LA to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $3.2 million plus a network affiliation agreement before closing. The station has flipped to EMF's K-LOVE Contemporary Christian format.
In other filings with the FCC, the estate of LYNDA WARE, through executor CYNTHIA RAMAGE, is selling Adult Standards KZPO/LINDSAY, CA to JESSE PORTILLO's BIG RADIO PRO INC. as part of a five station "distress sale" deal for $2.7 million. BIG RADIO PRO is also acquiring the construction permit for KNGS/COALINGA, CA from WILLIAM L. ZAWILA, the construction permit for KAAX/AVENAL, CA from AVENAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, INC., the construction permit for KYAF/FIREBAUGH, CA from CENTRAL VALLEY EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, INC., and the construction permit for KZPE/FORD CITY, CA from H.L. CHARLES under the same asset purchase agreement.
