JVC MEDIA Country WOTW (103.1 THE WOLF)/ORLANDO has discontinued the syndicated “BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE” in mornings, saying the show was incompatible with the station’s format.

BUBBA remains on the company’s Rock WBGF/WEST PALM BEACH and Country WTRS/GAINESVILLE-OCALA outlets.

The show was launched on WOTW two months ago, shortly following WOTW’s flip to Country in DECEMBER. That followed JVC’s purchase of the station earlier that month (NET NEWS 12/15).

No news so far on future plans for mornings on WOTW; currently, the station's FACEBOOK page is promoting "Great Country music in the mornings."
