The NEWSEUM in WASHINGTON honored LARRY KING at a special members-only event WEDNESDAY (3/18), "A Life in Broadcasting: A Conversation with LARRY KING." The event was moderated by SINCLAIR ABC affiliate WJLA-TV/WASHINGTON's LEON HARRIS and included footage of some of the former WESTWOOD ONE and CNN host and present PODCASTONE host and AARP radio feature host's most famous interviews.
The museum is creating a special LARRY KING exhibit where his radio mic, TV set, and his familiar suspenders will be displayed.
In the photo: WESTWOOD ONE EVP/News and Talk BART TESSLER, WESTWOOD ONE NEWS Assignment Manager PAT PIPER, and KING, with whom both TESSLER and PIPER worked when "THE LARRY KING SHOW" aired on WESTWOOD ONE.
