Shane Media CEO Ed Shane Has Passed Away

Everyone at ALL ACCESS is deeply saddened to report the passing of SHANE MEDIA CEO ED SHANE, TODAY (3/21), following a short battle with colon cancer.

ED's extensive radio career also included many years as PD at Talker KTRH/HOUSTON (1980-84), and he most recently ran the BEST IN TEXAS MAGAZINE and spearheaded the ALL ACCESS TEXAS MUSIC CHART and TEXAS MUSIC SECTION, and consulted and served as project manager for RADIO ONE News KROI/HOUSTON.

SHANE and his wife PAM had announced his illness less than a month ago (NET NEWS 2/24); ALL ACCESS hears ED was placed into hospice care earlier this week.
