ALMA CORPORATION is selling the construction permit for KZOC/BOURBON, MO to ROBERT B. ROSE for $31,000.  ROSE is requesting an 18-month extension of the construction permit, which ALMA won in FM Auction 91.

In other filings with the FCC, CANTROAIR COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is swapping W260AN/TROY, PA to GEOS COMMUNICATIONS for W275AB/ELMIRA, NY.

TED AND JANA TUCKER have applied for an extension of their Silent STA for K265AW/TUCSON because it lost its transmitter site and the lease for an alternate site operated under an engineering STA has expired.

And the estate of WILLIAM D. TAYLOR has closed on the transfer of Oldies KJAA-A (JUKE BOX 1240)/GLOBE, AZ and Country KQSS (GILA 101.9)/MIAMI, AZ to JON CORNELL and ROLLYE JAMES' GLOBECASTING, INC., with the buyers' services in operating the stations up to the closing date being treated as consideration for the deal.  TAYLOR passed away in DECEMBER while the deal to transfer the stations was still pending at the FCC.

PLUS CHARITIES has been granted a construction permit for 88.7 MHZ in COGGON, IA over the objection of NEW BOHEMIA GROUP, INC.
 
New boosters were granted to RADIO STATION KMJY LLC (KNHK-FM3/SANDPOINT, ID) and EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION (KMKV-FM1/LAHAINA, HI).

Low power FM construction permits were granted to LA PRIMERA ASAMBLEA DE DIOS at WESLACO, TX and to GENESIS CENTER FOR GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT, INC. at FORT LAUDERDALE, FL.

And ED STOLZ, as executor of the estate of late wife IRENE M. STOLZ, has appealed the 2005 and 2013 license renewals of ENTERCOM News-Talk WRKO-A, Sports WEEI-A (ESPN 850), Sports WEEI-F, and Active Rock WAAF/BOSTON yet again, filing an Application for Review of the denial and dismissal of a previous Petition for Reconsideration.  The new filing alleges that the dismissal of the petition on procedural grounds was arbitrary and capricious.  STOLZ, who has been at odds with ENTERCOM since the latter successfully enforced its contract to buy KWOD (now KUDL)/SACRAMENTO from him after he tried to cancel the sale, has been alleging that the fatal "Hold Your Wee for a Wii" contest at ENTERCOM Top 40 KDND (107.9 THE END)/SACRAMENTO should disqualify ENTERCOM from getting license renewals until the FCC holdings a hearing on the matter.

In CANADA, the CRTC has granted CRAIG TIMMERMANS a license for a new Country station on 103.1 FM with 35,200 watts at 178 meters HAAT in LITTLE CURRENT-MANITOULIN ISLAND, ON.

And the CRTC denied BLACKGOLD BROADCASTING's application for a new Country station on 89.7 FM with 10,000 watts at 111 meters in PONOKA, AB.  NEWCAP had objected to the grant, saying that a new station would impact the "already over-competitive" RED DEER market and its own Country CKGY (KG COUNTRY)/RED DEER and Oldies CKJR-A (W1440)/WETASKIWIN, and L.A. RADIO said that its Classic Hits CJUV (SUNNY 94)/LACOMBE already serves the PONOKA community.
