To quote MAGIC BROADCASTING Top 40 WILN (ISLAND 106)/PANAMA CITY PD MARC SUMMERS, "No, seriously, this dude is BIG!  You don’t get the name CHUBBS by eating salads and doing yoga."

ISLAND 106 welcomes CHUBBS (JACOB DAY) to AM drive beginning May 27^th.  He replaces THE MIGUEL SHOW, which departed for COX Top 40 WPOI (HOT 101.5)/TAMPA (NET NEWS 3/9). CHUBBS will be joining PRODUCER JIMMY and MANDY WILLIAMS, who will return to wakeups when he arrives. 

CHUBBS has over 10 years of morning experience as producer for KIDD KRADDICK and THE BILLY MADISON SHOW.  He was most recently at COX Classic Rock KISS (99.5 KISS-FM)/SAN ANTONIO. 

MANDY WILLIAMS said, "After the MIGUEL SHOW left me behind, I really didn’t think I would want to return to morning radio.  But after meeting him, my first thought was…damn, that boy is fat!  My second thought, I will look really skinny standing next to him.  Then I spent some time with him when he came to PCB and I just had to work with this guy.  We had instant chemistry, or it might have been the cheeseburgers I kept throwing at him… either way, we’re gonna be a great team.”

SUMMERS added, “I've already ordered some heavy duty studio chairs, and doubled the vending machine capacity!  Only thing I am concerned about... the week CHUBBS was in town, all that spring break craziness went down.  Coincidence?!?!  Hmmmm...”
