Michael Medved Calls In To Show With Update On His Recovery

MICHAEL MEDVED called in to his SALEM RADIO NETWORK show TODAY (4/9), appearing for the first time in two months since he announced that he is being treated for stage 3 throat cancer.

MEDVED, saying that he is encouraged by the results of his radiation and chemotherapy treatment, noted that the recovery comes "at a cost," namely having to go through recovery to restore his speaking voice.  "Before long, I will be back every day, every morning, doing what I love to do," he said, adding that he is ahead of schedule for recovery but that the remaining problems are centered in his mouth, causing problems for eating and speaking.  He expressed his gratitude for the prayers and well wishes he has received since his diagnosis.
