HUBBARD BROADCASTING/BEMIDJI, MN has appointed JOEL SWANSON GM for the cluster’s five radio stations: Country KBHP, Sports KBUN-A, Classic Rock KLLZ, AC KKZY and Classic Hits WQXJ. Previously, he was GM for DAKOTA BROADCASTING/ABERDEEN, SD.

“OMNI BROADCASTING’s LOU BURON and MARY CAMPBELL have been running the BEMIDJI market for 25 years and are legendary shoes to fill,” HUBBARD VP/Regional Manager of MINNESOTA DAN SEEMAN said. “I am extremely fortunate to bring in JOEL to run the market. JOEL has decades of experience in northern MINNESOTA and is the kind of broadcaster that will reflect HUBBARD’s commitment to serving the community.”

“BEMIDJI was our favorite place to visit when we lived in northern MINNESOTA and the opportunity to call it ‘home’ was something I couldn’t pass up,” said SWANSON. “Becoming a part of HUBBARD BROADCASTING made the decision to move the easiest of my career.
