"MOViN" Docks In Salt Lake City

SIMMONS MEDIA has launched Rhythmic AC KYMV (MOViN 100.7)/SALT LAKE CITY on the frequency formerly occupied by Country KEGH (THE EAGLE 100.7). THE EAGLE survives at simulcasted sister frequency KEGA (EAGLE 101.5). SIMMONS VP/Operations ALAN HAGUE will program the station while conducting a search for a permanent PD. 

"This format is truly the first new thing in AC in years, and the first really new format since JACK," said SIMMONS/SALT LAKE CITY VP/Market Manager STEVE JOHNSON, "and we believe the potential for this format in the SALT LAKE CITY market is huge."

MOViN 100.7 becomes becomes the third station to adopt ALAN BURNS AND ASSOCIATES’ MOViN format, following KQMV/SEATTLE and EMMIS KZLA/LOS ANGELES.
