LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA Country KYGO/DENVER morning team of KELLY, JONATHAN and MUDFLAP will join local firefighters for a memorial broadcasts on MONDAY (9/11), the fifth anniversary of the terrorists attacks. The show will broadcast live from the SOUTH METRO FIRE STATION from 5:30-9:30a (MT) and will include a moment of silence at the time the first plane hit the first tower, interviews with local firefighters that assisted at GROUND ZERO as well as words from Governor BILL OWENS and a local third grade class singing patriotic songs.
PD JOEL BURKE says, "At KYGO, we believe it's important to remember 9/11 because of the shocking tragedy and how it brought us all closer together. After five years, we all need to reflect on how we all felt that day and the triumph of human spirit. We need to ask ourselves, where were you when the world stopped turning?"
