Live Nation Declares May 5th National Concert Day With New York Event

To mark the start of a very busy 2015 summer season, LIVE NATION has declared MAY 5th the first-ever NATIONAL CONCERT DAY to "recognize not only fans, but also music artists, live music industry leaders, tour managers and their teams as well as all the employees at venues across the country that work tirelessly to produce the incredible music experiences that will be seen this summer."
On that day, LIVE NATION will host the 2015 SUMMER SPOTLIGHT presented by HILTON at NEW YORK CITY's IRVING PLAZA featuring a lineup that includes KID ROCK, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE with special appearances by BILLY CORGAN, INCUBUS' BRANDON BOYD and MIKE EINZIGER, LIFEHOUSE's JASON WADE and BRYCE SODERBERG, KIP MOORE, METRIC, FOREIGNER'S MICK JONES, RAE SREMMURD, TINASHE and WIZ KHALIFA. "The Today Show" host HODA KOTB will serve as MC.
Aside from HILTON, official sponsors of the concert include MALIBU RUM, CITI and PEPSI.
