WIBC's Greg Garrison Not Talking About Report Of Possible Involvement In Fight

EMMIS News-Talk WIBC/INDIANAPOLIS host GREG GARRISON is declining comment on an INDIANAPOLIS STAR report claiming he may have been involved in a fight in downtown INDIANAPOLIS over two weeks ago in which another man was punched and a lawn sign criticizing Gov. MIKE PENCE was vandalized.

The report said that a man was sitting on the porch of his townhouse  at 10:30p (CT) on APRIL 18th when he noticed a BMW SUV parked on the street; he said a gray-haired man and woman approached the SUV, but then the gray-haired man turned into a flower bed, ripped a "PENCE Must Go" sign from the lawn, and flung it. The sign refers to PENCE's support of the controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act. The resident, after blocking the SUV's exit, said that he called police while the driver tried to "nudge" him out of the way and then challenged the resident to a fight, punching him and ripping his shirt, then kicking the resident in the face while the woman yelled "Hit me" to the resident. The man and woman drove away, but the license plate number was traced to GARRISON.

The resident did not file a formal complaint despite having witnesses and pictures of his injuries, and a neighbor told the STAR that the resident "just wanted the matter forgotten."   On the air TODAY (5/5), GARRISON said, "There have been media reports... Obviously, I can't comment on it."
