Toronto Urban Roots Festival Returns Sept. 18th-20th With Wilco, Of Monsters And Men, Avett Brothers

TORONTO URBAN ROOTS FESTIVAL (TURF) returns for the third year to the city's historic FORT YORK COMMON with 46 bands on three outdoor stages spanning three days and nights, from SEPTEMBER 18th through 20th. This year's headliners include WILCO, OF MONSTERS AND MEN, EDWARD SHARPE AND THE MAGNETIC ZEROS, THE AVETT BROTHERS, UB40, BUILT TO SPILL, FISHBONE and NEKO CASE. More artists are set to be announced.
As part of the TURF weekend, the annual CLUB BONUS SERIES at the HORSESHOE TAVERN and at LEE'S PALACE (celebrating 30 years of live music) will take place from SEPTEMBER 16th through 21st. Full weekend VIP Plus pass holders will enjoy intimate performances from TURF artists and three-day pass holders will have a chance to win tickets to these special performances.
TURF will also shine the spotlight on local talent throughout the weekend with its "Artists From TORONTO" focus. Each stage at the festival will kick off daily with performances from artists who call TORONTO home.
All ticket packages are on sale now at TICKETFLY. Tier one early bird pricing ends WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10th at midnight. All event tickets can be purchased in the U.S. through TICKETFLY or at www.torontourbanrootsfest.com.
Regular pricing begins THURSDAY, JUNE 11th at noon. TURF CLUB BONUS SERIES shows will be announced and ticketed in early JULY.
