Hall of Fame announcer BOB UECKER, fellow BREWERS voices JOE BLOCK and JEFF LEVERING, and their SCRIPPS News-Talk WTMJ-A/MILWAUKEE BREWERS radio crew were briefly trapped in their radio booth at MILLER PARK WEDNESDAY night (5/6) during the BREWERS-LOS ANGELES DODGERS game when the handle to the booth's door fell off.
SB NATION reports that a handyman climbed a ladder from the stands through the booth's open window to save the day, chronicled in tweets by LEVERING, BLOCK, and ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER DODGERS beat reporter BILL PLUNKETT.
Doorknob fell off home radio booth. Bob Uecker, crew are stuck inside. Ladder has been placed outside the booth so handyman can climb inside
