In other filings with the FCC, TENNESSEE TEMPLE UNIVERSITY is assigning Religion WDYN-A/ROSSVILLE, GA and W235AO/CHATTANOOGA, TN to PIEDMONT INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, INC. as part of the merger of the two companies.

CALVARY CHAPEL CHURCH, INC. has closed on the sale of W242CI/JUPITER, FL to DIGITY MEDIA, LLC's PALM BEACH BROADCASTING LICENSE LLC for $70,000.

GAYTAN-GALVAN LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY has closed on the sale of Regional Mexican daytimer KXTD-A (QUE BUENA 1530 AM)/WAGONER-TULSA, OK to KEY PLUS PROPERTIES LLC for $100,000.

ELIZABETH PLASCENCIA has closed on the sale of her 50% interest in JAB BROADCASTING, LLC,  licensee of KRBN/MANTON-REDDING, CA and Spanish Hits KBQF (LA LIGERA 104.3)/MCFARLAND-BAKERSFIELD, CA, to 50% partner SARA VENEGAS for $10 plus payment of the $300 FCC filing fee.

And RADIO DISNEY ATLANTA, LLC has closed on the sale of WDWD-A/ATLANTA to SALEM MEDIA's SOUTH TEXAS BROADCASTING, INC. for $2.75 million.  The station will air SALEM's Christian Talk and Teaching format.

The Commission also renewed the licenses of SAGA COMMUNICATIONS OF NEW ENGLAND, LLC for Country WQNY (Q COUNTRY 103.7), AC WYXL (LITE ROCK 97.3), News-Talk WNYY-A (PROGRESSIVE TALK 1470), News-Talk WHCU-A, W235BR, W242AB, W299BI, W262AD, W249CD, W244CZ, W254BF, AND W277BS/ITHACA, NY; Top 40 WFIZ/ODESSA, NY; and Classic Rock WIII (I-100)/CORTLAND, NY over a Petition to Deny by FINGER LAKES ALLIANCE FOR INDEPENDENT MEDIA; the petition alleged that SAGA had gone over the limit for ownership in the ITHACA market, but the Commission noted that when ARBITRON ceased to measure the market, the permissible number of stations SAGA could own in the market increased to eight full-power stations, five in one band, and the petition complained that SAGA was violating the "spirit" of the law if not the letter.
