MALKAN INTERACTIVE Top 40/Rhythmic KZFM (HOT Z95)/CORPUS CHRISTI ups morning co-host/middayer ERIKA NAVARIJO to MD. NAVARIJO maintains her on-air spots.

NAVARIJO, a CORPUS CHRISTI native, literally won her way on air at KZFM four years ago when the station held it’s 'GET A LIFE' contest awarding the grand prize winner its  morning show co-host position.

KZFM OM/PD GINO FLORES said, "ERIKA is an important part of not only the continued success of our morning show on Z95 but also we enjoy the overall fun, upbeat, positive attitude she brings within the building. The listeners love her and connect with her. What is so scary is the fact she had zero experience when she started here. We are proud of what she's accomplished in such a short time."

"Honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed when I first started here," NAVARIJO added, "Under the coaching and guidance of the late RUDY GARZA (RAMOS) and GINO, I have learned and grown so much. I’m excited to take on my new role as music director and help as much as I possibly can."
