GARTH BROOKS is leading the charge in to the MOTHER'S DAY weekend with an appearance on ABC-TV's "Good Morning AMERICA" to surprise contest winner and mother of three, KAREN GARRISON. GARTH left OMAHA last NIGHT (5/7) after a sold-out show and flew to DARLINGTON, WI this MORNING (5/8) to surprise GARRISON with a private acoustic performance of his song, "Mom." GARRISON, a GARTH super-fan, named her children GARTH and BROOK after the artist. Her full story and the surprise performance can be watched online.

Additionally, GARTH utilized social media and FLIPAGRAM, a new network that takes photos from your phone and turns them into short video stories set to the music you love, to create a moving tribute to his own mother, COLLEEN BROOKS, who died of cancer in 1999. Set to his song, "Mom," GARTH shares photos from his childhood as well as shots of his mother alongside him on his rise to fame. The special tribute video is also available to view online.
