Former WLW Host, Reds Assistant GM Darrell 'Doc' Rodgers Loses Fight With Cancer

Condolences to family and friends of former iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WLW-A/CINCINNATI "EXTRA INNINGS" weekend host and CINCINNATI REDS Assistant GM DARRELL "DOC" RODGERS, who died after a battle with cancer at 52, according to the CINCINNATI ENQUIRER.

RODGERS hosted the REDS post-game show on weekends on WLW in 2007 through his diagnosis of stage IV lung cancer.  He was a minor league player before becoming Director of Baseball Administration for the DETROIT TIGERS in 1996, then the REDS' Assistant GM in 1997 and Director of Minor League Operations for the BALTIMORE ORIOLES in 2002-04.  He also worked as a Realtor for COLDWELL BANKER.
