THE CONCLAVE LEARNING CONFERENCE will award its 2015 ROCKWELL AWARD to NRG MEDIA Pres./CEO MARY QUASS and Founder of VALLIE, RICHARDS, DONOVAN CONSULTING and THE NATIONAL RADIO TALENT SYSTEM DAN VALLIE. This year’s ROCKWELL AWARD will be presented during THE CONCLAVE’s 40th anniversary celebration on JULY 16th and 17th at the DOUBLETREE MINNEAPOLIS/PARK PLACE.

CONCLAVE Board of Directors Chair LORI LEWIS commented, "The Board and I couldn't agree more in honoring MARY QUASS and DAN VALLIE as this year's ROCKWELL AWARD recipients. Both MARY and DAN are role models in what success looks like. They help build on the future of our business by putting their employees first, and mentoring the young talent of today. We look forward to honoring them in JULY."

QUASS said of her winning the ROCKWELL AWARD, “To say that I am honored to receive this award along with DAN VALLIE is an understatement, and given the outstanding broadcasters who have preceded me, 'Thank you' hardly seems appropriate. I think this award really belongs to the outstanding group of broadcasters that I have been fortunate enough to have had the pleasure of working with over the years. I have loved EVERY job I have had in radio and feel grateful for the opportunities given to me by the industry, and my fellow broadcasters ... Thank you for allowing me to do what I love.”

QUASS is a 30-year broadcaster and formed NRG MEDIA, LLC, in 2001. Her company currently operates 50 stations across the MIDWEST.

DAN VALLIE commented, “It’s flattering and humbling to receive the CONCLAVE ROCKWELL AWARD along with MARY QUASS, particularly considering this year’s nominees, whom for which I have so much respect. God has blessed me with many friends and relationships in this great industry we love, and that has been so good to us.
