PRETTY LIGHTS, TEARS FOR FEARS, CUT COPY, TYLER THE CREATOR and PURITY RING are among the headliners at this year's TBD FEST, a three-day music festival taking place SEPTEMBER 18th through 20th in WEST SACRAMENTO's BRIDGE DISTRICT.
Last year, TBD FEST featured JUSTICE, BLONDIE, MOBY and EMPIRE OF THE SUN.
Festival organizers MICHAEL HARGIS and CLAY NUTTING set out to create a lineup that would compete with some of the best festivals in the country while delivering an experience that only a boutique festival can offer.
“Our goal is not to be the biggest, our goal is to curate the best festival experience possible. Our lineup is personally curated with iconic and emerging artists that we are really excited about, and you get to see them in an intimate setting.” said NUTTING.
The TBD FEST's ability to highlight the region’s creative community through the festival experience makes the event standout. Added NUTTING: “SACRAMENTO is the gateway to NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. The beer, the wine, the food, the creativity in this region is really unique and we get to show that off through our festival with experiences like FRIENDLY FIRE, a chef-driven, wood-fire cooking battle pairing SACRAMENTO chefs against chefs from SAN FRANCISCO.”
““I am beyond thrilled to announce an eclectic lineup featuring legends like TEARS FOR FEARS to young exciting electronic acts like LOUIS THE CHILD. Putting together this lineup through the year has been nothing short of interesting to say the least. The city of SACRAMENTO has a truly up-and-coming arts and music scene, and I’m so happy to be a part of it," added talent buyer JAKE BERNSTEIN.
A three-day General Admission ticket will set you back $159, with a VIP pass at $259. For more information, go to www.tbdfest.com.
