Elbert West Passes At 46

ALL ACCESS sends condolences to the family and friends of singer/songwriter ELBERT WEST, who passed away YESTERDAY (5/18) morning. He was 46.

WEST wrote "Sticks and Stones" and "Can't Break It To My Heart" for TRACY LAWRENCE. TIM McGRAW and JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY also cut songs written by WEST. Those songwriting cuts eventually led WEST to a record deal with then-new label, BROKEN BOW RECORDS. Most recently, WEST was a partner in HONKYTONK RECORDS. Arrangements are pending.
