Steve Harvey's 13th Annual Ford Neighborhood Awards In Atlanta

PREMIERE NETWORKS' award-winning syndicated morning personality STEVE HARVEY will kick off his 13th ANNUAL FORD NEIGHBORHOOD AWARDS in ATLANTA on AUGUST 6th-9th.   Much of the fun will take place at the GEORGIA WORLD CONGRESS CENTER and the AWARDS SHOW will be held at PHILLIPS ARENA.

The big WEEKEND is a four-day mix of concerts, comedy, empowering seminars, college expo, singing competitions and more. This year's featured headline performances will include ERYKAH BADU, KENNY 'BABYFACE' EDMONDS, JODECI, DOUG E. FRESH, SALT-N-PEPA, and YOLONDA ADAMS. The STEVE HARVEY MORNING SHOW will broadcast live and showcase performances by JAZMINE SULLIVAN, K. MITCHELLE, and AVERY SUNSHINE.  NE-YO will host the STATE FARM FREEDOM FRIDAY PARTY.

The event will get started THURSDAY AUGUST 6th with STAND UP COMEDY JAM hosted by NEPHEW TOMMY. The two shows are already sold out. Other featured events include the FORD VIP AFTER PARTY hosted by DOUG E. FRESH, The MCDONALD's INSPIRATION CELEBRATION GOSPEL TOUR with YOLANDA ADAMS, The NEIGHBORHOOD AWARDS CHURCH CHOIR COMPETITION presented by AARP, and SING YOUR WAY TO THE STATE FARM FREEDOM FRIDAY PARTY finale hosted by SHERYL UNDERWOOD.

Listeners continue pour in nominations for the various FORD NEIGHBORHOOD AWARDS.  Submissions are open in one award category per day until WEDNESDAY, MAY 27th. This year's awards finalists will be unveiled by the STEVE HARVEY MORNING SHOW in one category each day when the voting period opens online. Voting will be from JUNE 1st through JUNE 16th.
