USRN To Broadcast 'Serving Your Country' With Ramblin' Ray

UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS, INC. (USRN) has added its weekly Country music program, "SERVING YOUR COUNTRY," to the programming stream of the AMERICAN FORCES NETWORK. The music-intensive two-hour weekly program is anchored by WUSN/CHICAGO morning man RAY "RAMBLIN' RAY" STEVENS, and features a mix of contemporary Country music and coverage of the activities in the realm of the UNITED STATES military.

"I'm very proud of this show," said STEVENS. "It's our way of saying thanks to those folks who provide our freedom. It's just huge, and I know they love the gesture!" USRN EVP/Programming ANDY DENEMARK echoed, "We're quite proud of this show, which has been on the air for over two years now. So many Country stations cite support for our troops and veterans as a key part of their community services, so it's very gratifying to have this program not only exist and grow on US radio stations, but to now be transmitted to our service personnel overseas is fantastic."
