Report: Televisa May Try Another Bid For Univision

It ain't over 'till it's over, reports the NEW YORK TIMES, which has a story in TODAY's editions saying that GRUPO TELEVISA is considering one more $13 billion bid for UNIVISION. TELEVISA lost out to a group headed by producer HAIM SABAN in the bidding for UNIVISION earlier this year, but, according to the TIMES, has met with its partners, including BAIN CAPITAL and CASCADE INVESTMENTS, to discuss a new bid and has been discussing financing with investment banks. UNIVISION shareholders are scheduled to vote on the SABAN bid SEPTEMBER 27.
