City Official Drops Restraining Order Request Against WRPW (Cities 92.9)/Bloomington, IL Reporter

Order Motion Dismissed

A politician has dropped her request for a restraining order against a reporter for PILOT MEDIA/GREAT PLAINS MEDIA News-Talk WRPW (CITIES 92.9)/BLOOMINGTON, IL.

City of BLOOMINGTON Communications Manager NORA DUKOWITZ demanded that reporter JOSH "FISTBUMP" SCHMIDGALL be blocked from "threatening or stalking" her at her office or home and that he not be allowed to buy or possess a gun, after, she alleged, the reporter came to her house when she was off sick, emailing her for an appointment and telling her he would resort to "Plan B" after she declined to answer. 

The BLOOMINGTON PANTAGRAPH reports that before a scheduled hearing on the matter could be held on THURSDAY (6/4), DUKOWITZ dropped her petition and an order dismissing the motion was signed by Associate Judge DAVID BUTLER.
