JOHN OWENS has been named GM of BLUE RIDGE BROADCASTING Contemporary Christian WMIT (106.9 THE LIGHT/ASHEVILLE and WFGW (106.7 THE LIGHT)/KNOXVILLE, effective JUNE 23rd.

JOHN most recently led the team at WMHK/COLUMBIA, prior to its DECEMBER sale to EMF/K-LOVE, and previously served at WCIK (FAMILY LIFE NETWORK)/BATH, NY.
