Kimberly McLaughlin-Smith Named New PD Of WUIN

SEA-COMM MEDIA AAA WUIN (106.7 THE CAROLINA PENGUIN)/WILMINGTON, NC names KIMBERLY MCLAUGHLIN-SMITH as its new PD, replacing MARK KEEFE. KIMBERLY was doing middays on sister Classic Rock WBNE (THE BONE) and the host of the longtime running specialty program “REGGAE REDEMPTION.”

SEA-COMM MEDIA VP/GM PAUL KNIGHT said, "KIMBERLY’s background in Public Radio, which began in 1993, her knowledge of `World Music,' along with her ability to communicate and work with people shows me that she possesses `the right attitude and talent' to do this job."
