Q103.7 Fans Have Fun - Even In The Rain

iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 WQEN (103.7 THE Q)/BIRMINGHAM threw another huge "Just Show Up Show" last night (6/9). No tickets ... no caller #9 ... just be there ... and boy, were they!  A capacity crowd of 1,200+ showed up at TIN ROOF for CHARLI XCX and NATALIE LA ROSE. Unfortunately, just before showtime, two unwanted guests crashed the party -- a lightning storm and subsequent downpour.

PD DINO CONARD told ALL ACCESS, "We had to cancel the show due to safety concerns."  As you see in the photo, the rain didn't stop the fans from sticking around to shoot selfies. On on a positive note this morning, hosts ACE & TJ announced the next "Just Show Up Show" featuring ECHOSMITH, which will be held JULY 17th at OAK MOUNTAIN AMPHITHEATRE as part of PELHAM PALOOZA.

The station is on a roll with these pop-up events, which in the past have featured B.o.B, MKTO, RIXTON and JAKE MILLER. Read more here.
