RTDNA Announces 2015 Student Edward R. Murrow Awards Winners

The RADIO TELEVISION DIGITAL NEWS ASSOCIATION (RTDNA) has announced the winners of the 2015 Student EDWARD R. MURROW Awards, the first time a student version of the awards has been offered. The audio winner was HELENA BATTIPAGLIA of SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY and noncommercial WAER/SYRACUSE for "Lime Shortage 'Squeeze.'" Video winner was ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY's ERIN PATRICK O'CONNOR, and the Digital winner was STANFORD UNIVERSITY's CAROLINA WILSON.
"We're delighted to recognize great journalism being done by students across the country with the Student EDWARD R. MURROW Awards," said RTDNA Chair AMY TARDIF. "This is the first time we have offered award categories specifically designed for students to present their best work, and the entries were outstanding."
