HOLLYWOOD RECORDS recording artist BEA MILLER debuts this week as RADIO DISNEY's "NBT" (NEXT BIG THING) featured artist. The 16-year-old singer-songwriter and 2015 RADIO DISNEY MUSIC AWARD winner is the latest artist to be highlighted in the radio, online and TV feature that has been championing young recording artists.
Check out the video below for a preview of MILLER's "Discovery" episode set to begin airing on the 95 million DISNEY CHANNEL households next week:
The four part/short form "N.B.T." series will follow MILLER behind-the-scenes, on the FIFTH HARMONY "Reflection: The Summer Tour" and as she prepares to release her debut album "Not An Apology" on JULY 24th.
Recent N.B.T. artists include COLUMBIA RECORDS' OLLY MURS, ISLAND RECORDS' SHAWN MENDES and THE VAMPS, KEMOSABE/RCA's BECKY G. HOLLYWOOD RECORDS' R5 and EPIC RECORDS' FIFTH HARMONY.
MILLER's singing debut came during a 2008 appearance at the U.S. OPEN, where she performed "America the Beautiful." In 2013, after emerging as a Top 10 finalist in the second season of "The X Factor," MILLER was signed to SYCO MUSIC/HOLLYWOOD RECORDS. Her debut single, "Young Blood," was released APRIL 22nd and charted on RADIO DISNEY's Top 30 for 14 weeks and debuted on the BILLBOARD 100. The strength of the single drove a #2 debut on the iTUNES pop chart for her debut EP, "Young Blood." She was named one of ROLLING STONE's "10 Artists You Need To Know" in FEBRUARY, MTV's "Artist to Watch for 2015" and one of BILLBOARD's "10 Artists to Watch in 2015."
