ALL ACCESS congratulates GAYLORD Classic Country WSM-A/NASHVILLE evening personality EDDIE STUBBS, who TODAY (6/23) celebrates his 20th year as the voice of the GRAND OLE OPRY.
A piece in today’s TENNESSEAN profiles STUBBS, who said he first auditioned for the gig not knowing it was an actual tryout. Nonetheless, STUBBS says of the job, “It means the world to me.” He’ll have another anniversary next month, as STUBBS marks his 19th year handling evenings on WSM-A. He was inducted into the COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME in 2012 (NET NEWS 10/24/2011).
