Lee Roberts Named Analyst For University Of Southern Mississippi Football

Former UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI quarterback LEE ROBERTS is joining the school's football radio crew on the SOUTHERN MISS IMG SPORTS NETWORK as analyst.  ROBERTS replaces VIC PURVIS, who retired after 41 years calling GOLDEN EAGLES football.

“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to sit alongside JOHN COX and become a member of the broadcast team,” said ROBERTS, who played for the GOLDEN EAGLES in 1995-98. “I am looking forward to giving my insight to the fans of SOUTHERN MISS football. SOUTHERN MISS has been a part my life and my family’s life for a long time and we are ready to do what we can to continue to help take SOUTHERN MISS to the top.”
