ESPN Radio Moves Atlanta Affiliation To WFOM-A (1230 The Fan 2)

DICKEY BROADCASTING has inked a new deal to affiliate Sports WFOM-A (1230 THE FAN 2)/ATLANTA with ESPN RADIO, which moves from crosstown LINCOLN FINANCIAL (soon to be ENTERCOM) Sports WQXI-A (ESPN 790 THE ZONE). All ESPN talk shows and play-by--play will air on WFOM, which drops CBS SPORTS RADIO to air ESPN; some play-by-play will also air on sister Sports WCNN-A-W229AG (680 THE FAN). The move takes effect AUGUST 17th.

WCNN-WFOM-WIFN APD SCOTT MCFARLANE said, “We are very excited about bringing ESPN RADIO back into the growing DICKEY BROADCASTING CO. menu of sports-focused content."
