Connecticut AM Trio Placed In Receivership

FREEDOM COMMUNICATIONS OF CONNECTICUT's Spanish Tropical WLAT-A (MEGA 910), Spanish Tejano WNEZ-A, and Urban AC WKND-A/HARTFORD have been placed in receivership by U.S. DISTRICT COURT in BRIDGEPORT, CT. Broker/Consultant LARRY PATRICK was named receiver after the licensee's principal STEVE BRISKER was sued by FLEET DEVELOPMENT VENTURES, LLC over financial irregularities in the operation of the stations. The stations are not in bankruptcy and are expected to be sold after resolution of the case.
