Rumor Central: Randy Goodman Named CEO Of Sony Music Nashville

Nothing official has been announced yet, but ALL ACCESS is hearing that SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE will soon name RANDY GOODMAN as CEO for its Country and Christian divisions. If true, he will succeed GARY OVERTON, who stepped down at the end of MARCH (NET NEWS 3/17).

It would be a return to SONY NASHVILLE for GOODMAN, who served in various executive positions there during the 80s and 90s before leaving to serve as President of LYRIC STREET RECORDS in 1997. The label subsequently closed its doors in 2010 (NET NEWS 4/14/2010).
