More journalists have been named as having taken payments from the U.S. government for appearances on RADIO and TV MARTI and the VOICE OF AMERICA, as EL NUEVO HERALD reports that HARTFORD COURANT WASHINGTON Bureau Chief DAVID LIGHTMAN, NEW YORK DAILY NEWS WASHINGTON chief TOM M. DEFRANK, former WASHINGTON TIMES op-ed page director HELLE DALE, and syndicated columnist GEORGIE ANNE GEYER have acknowledged being paid for appearances on the VOA.
