Tom Joyner Spearheads "Take A Loved One To The Doctor Day"

TOM JOYNER, host of the nationally syndicated "TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW," is bringing "Take a Loved One to the Doctor Day" on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th to cities around country. The national health initiative, now in its fourth year, sets out to help African-Americans conquer their fears of going to doctor and promotes healthy living and preventive care.

With the support of JOYNER’s 120 affiliates, there will be free health clinics and special activities for individuals and their loved ones who make an appointment for a check up with health professional or attend a screening.

TUESDAY's "TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW" will feature have a wide variety of guests talking about relevant health issues, including diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma and obesity, which affect African-Americans disproportionately.
