Former WCCO-A and KTNF-A (AIR AMERICA MINNESOTA)/MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL talk host WENDY WILDE easily won her primary race for the DEMOCRATIC-FARMER-LABOR PARTY nomination for Congress in the Third MINNESOTA Congressional District. WILDE won 77% of the vote to take on incumbent Republican Rep. JIM RANSTAD on NOVEMBER 7. The district covers the TWIN CITIES' western suburbs.
WILDE, as JENNIFER WILDE, worked at WTSO-A/MADISON, WJEZ and WJJD-A/CHICAGO, WBCS and WMIL/MILWAUKEE, WUUY/CHEYENNE, and KTBB/TYLER, TX, and later as WENDY WILDE worked at WYNK/BATON ROUGE, WHIO-A/DAYTON, KZPK/ST. CLOUD< and WCCO and KTNF in a 27 year radio career.
