CUMULUS Country WKHX (KICKS 101.5)/ATLANTA morning hosts CADILLAC and DALLAS helped make a dream come true for three-year-old MALLORY HALL from CUMMING, GA. HALL recently received a heart transplant, and found inspiration through LADY ANTEBELLUM's hit song "Compass." CADILLAC and DALLAS rallied KICKS listeners to reach out to the trio on social media to have HALL join LADY ANTEBELLUM on stage during their SATURDAY (7/18) tour stop in ATLANTA.
LADY ANTEBELLUM picked up on the story and CHARLES KELLEY called the morning show last week to say that the band was planning a big surprise for HALL and her older sister, MADISON. That surprise came to life on SATURDAY when the sisters were able to join LADY A on stage for their performance of "Compass." HUNTER HAYES also joined in on performing the song. Coincidentally, HAYES had met HALL one day before her transplant at CHILDREN'S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA when he was in town making the rounds and visiting with patients. See highlights of the performance here and view the video below.
