Digital Music Group Gets Digital Rights To Tuff City Catalog

DIGITAL MUSIC GROUP has acquired digital distribution rights to the TUFF CITY MUSIC GROUP catalog. The deal includes rights to up to 20,000 tracks, including classic R&B (RAY CHARLES, IKE TURNER, CHARLES BROWN, JOHNNY OTIS), NEW ORLEANS cuts, and old school Hip-Hop tracks (SPOONIE GEE, MARLEY MARL). The catalog will be delivered in stages, with 3,000 tracks due next week, 8,000 more in the following nine months, and up to 9,000 more under an option held by TUFF CITY through DECEMBER 2007.
